Anna S. Stover, age 88, of Pocahontas, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Anna Sophia Clausen was born on October 28, 1936, on the family farm near Curlew, Iowa. She was number five of nine children born to Herman and Frieda (Clausen) Clausen. Anna attended the Havelock Consolidated School where she was active in school activities. After graduating in 1954, she worked at the county ASCS office, and on October 6, 1956, Anna was united in marriage to Dennis Stover at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mallard, Iowa. Following Dennis' military service, the couple settled in Pocahontas and Anna later worked as an Avon Sales Representative from 1964 to 1984. Dennis passed away in 2019 and Anna continued to make her home in Pocahontas.

Anna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active in the ladies circle. She enjoyed sewing and following her children and grandchildren's sports and other activities.

Survivors include her son, Rick (Marcia) Stover of Grimes; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and brothers, Hans (Lola) Clausen, Herman Clausen, and Thomas (Judy) Clausen.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis; son, Steve; sisters, Elsie Shaveland, Lucile Weatherford, Frieda Lehr, and brothers, John Clausen and Rev. Julius Clausen.
