Arthur Teepe Sr, the son of Leonard Sr. and Helen (Van Brocklin) Teepe, was born November 9, 1948 in West Union, Iowa. He passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his home in Rural Laurens, Iowa at the age of 75.

He received his education in the Waterloo Schools, graduating from East High school in 1968. Following his Graduation Arthur served in the United State Army 1968-1970 and went to Vietnam. Following his Military Service, he was United in Marriage to Sinda Sue Blue on March 19, 1971. The couple made their home in Wadena, Iowa and moved around in the Northern part of Iowa. Arthur was employed with AMPI Creamery in Arlington, Iowa until 1979 and had several small jobs. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, having visitors and going to the casino.

Left to cherish Arthur's memory are his wife, Sinda of Laurens, Iowa; Arthur Teepe Jr. of Eastaboga, Alabama; Arlis Teepe and boyfriend Eric of Scranton, Iowa; Terry Teepe of Cherokee, Iowa; Wade Teepe and his wife Lacy of Meriden, Iowa; 12 Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, sisters, Gloria (Kenny) Becker of Hawkeye, Iowa; Arlene (Dwayne) Moore of Dolliver, Iowa; Helen (Jerry) Cox of West Union, Iowa; brothers, Leonard Jr. (Linda) Teepe of Calumet, Iowa and Jimmy Teepe Sr. of Spencer, Iowa.

Preceding Arthur in death are his parents, a brother Dwayne, a sister Geraldine, several aunts, uncles and nephews.
