Beverly J. Todd, age 89, of Laurens, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at the Laurens Care Center in Laurens, Iowa.

Beverly June Schuler was born July 14, 1933, near Laurens, Iowa. She was the daughter of Frank and Laura (Clark) Schuler. Beverly attended Laurens Schools for a year and then moved with her family to San Diego, California. She attended Vista High School in Vista, CA, graduating in 1951. On August 13, 1951, Beverly was united in marriage to Stanley Todd in Vista, California. The couple traveled the country and the world while Stanley was in the Air Force until 1972, when they settled in Escondido, California. In 1999, they returned to Laurens. Beverly operated a home daycare business for many years. In retirement, they enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and taking several cruises. Stanley passed away in 2004 and Beverly continued to make her home in Laurens.

Beverly was a member of the Laurens United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and a life member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Laura Todd of Laurens and Donna Todd of Vista, CA; grandchildren, Roxanne Harrington, Allison Thompson, Dominiq Perez, Maili Todd, Leilani Perez and Chandler Todd; 4 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Robert Schuler of Laurens.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley; son, Kimo; grandson, Raymond, and sisters, Janet Kobler and Joan Michaels.
