Candy Ann Edwards, 52, peacefully passed away on July 12, 2024, in Pocahontas, Iowa surrounded by her family.  She fought a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 28, 1972, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Candy is survived by an adoring family, including her mother, Bonnie Edwards;  three sons, Ben and Bryan Edwards, and Christopher Dowd; her partner, Sean Freeman;  three sisters, Debbie O'Neil, Donna Schroeder, and Denise DeCarlo; and four grandchildren Troy, Patrick, Sophia and Benedict. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Edwards.

She is known for her love of fun inflatables, milk chocolate, and cozy campfires.  Her beloved dog, Buttons, was a constant and loving companion.

Candy lived her whole life in Iowa, with the last 4-years in Havelock.

A private family celebration of her life will be held to honor Candy's memory and spirit. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who knew her.
