Carol Lynn Hall, age 78, of Pomeroy, formerly of Illinois, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa. Services are pending.

Carol Lynn Hilst was born February 11, 1947, in Peoria, Illinois to parents August and Florence (Cheatham) Hilst. Carol was raised in Illinois and after her education she worked as a data entry analyst. She moved to Pomeroy, Iowa in the winter of 2025 where she lived until her passing.

Survivors include her children, Derek Gravitt, Erin (Mirella) Gravitt and Brenda Johnson and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Grant Gravitt.
