Cindy Blair, age 62 of Lake City, IA, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, IA.  Cindy Lou was born on November 20, 1959, to parents Vernon and Dorothy (Main) Kraft in Fort Dodge, IA.  She grew up in Rockwell City, IA, where she attended grade school and graduated from Rockwell City High School.  Cindy continued her education at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, IA, where she became a Registered Nurse.

On March 20, 1979, Cindy was united in marriage to Jeff Blair.  This union was blessed with four children: Chris, Branden "BJ", Noel, and Corey.  Cindy worked as an RN for several years at St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Stewart Memorial Hospital.  In her free time, she loved being outdoors, fishing, and working in her garden.  Cindy enjoyed spending time with her best friend Sue Aber, and would also help raise orphan lambs.  Most of all, Cindy enjoyed her time spent with her family and grandchildren.  She loved seeing the joy on her grandchildren's faces and thus several years ago started a tradition of putting on a huge fireworks show.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years Jeff Blair of Lake City, IA; children: Chris (Jenn) Blair of Rockwell City, IA, Branden "JT" Blair of Lake City, IA, Noel (Deven) Blair of Lake City, IA, and Corey (Alissa) Blair of Treynor, IA; grandchildren: Ethan, Emma, Evan, Silas, Sammy, Caleb, Tristan, Noah, Autumn, Caidah, and Graysen; siblings: Diane Shivers of Rockwell City, IA, Kathy (Dave) Weiss of Rockwell City, IA, Dan (Kandie) Kraft of Grand Junction, IA, and Debbie Harrison of Hamburg, IA; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Dorothy Kraft.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials to go to the annual 4th of July Blair Fireworks display in honor of Cindy. A memorial service will be held on July 4, 2023.
