Colleen "Coco" Stroup, age 74, of Pocahontas, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Laurens Care Center in Laurens, Iowa. According to her wishes, a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Colleen Marie Moller was born November 9, 1951, in Spokane, Washington. She was the daughter of Richard Moller and Winnie (Johnson) Lewis. Coco graduated from Umapine High School in Umapine, Oregon in 1969. She married Russel Marsh and to this union two sons were born, Troy and Brandon. The couple later divorced. Coco married Michael Stroup and together they lived in Sigourney, Iowa. Michael passed away in the late 1980s and Coco moved to Pocahontas where she worked as a waitress for local restaurants.

Coco loved her dogs, Shorty, Gunner and Cooper; her fish, Louis; plant, Bob, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews and her brother.

Survivors include her sons, Troy Marsh of Laurens and Brandon Marsh of Pocahontas; 6 grandchildren; brother, Frank Moller; several half and step-siblings, and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Coco was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Winnie; her husband, Michael; sister, Donna Reese, and sister-in-law, Sandy Moller.
