Craig A. Loring, age 63, of Havelock, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at his home near Havelock, Iowa.

Craig Allen Loring was born August 14, 1960, in Emmetsburg, Iowa. He was the son of Raymond and Carol (Hoffmeyer) Loring. Craig graduated from Emmetsburg High School and began work at John Morrell Meat Processing in Estherville. He later worked for IBP (Iowa Beef Processing). Craig continued to work various jobs over the years, and later at Bobalee in Laurens and BrandFX in Pocahontas.

Craig enjoyed hunting, target shooting, fishing, and was a Kansas City Chiefs fan. His first love was his dogs that he had over the years.

Survivors include his mother, Carol Loring of Emmetsburg; sisters, Linda (Mike) Guinn of Hartley, Sheryl Loring (Melinda Talbot) of Emmetsburg, Diane (Tony) Putnam of Everly and Kayleen (Scott) Farmer of Estherville, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; brother, Stephen Loring; partner, Ann Loring, and his grandparents.
