Craig Presley, age 62 of Jefferson, IA, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at his home in Jefferson.  Craig Darwin was born on November 27, 1960, to parents Forrest and Alice (Kent) Presley.  He grew up on a farm two miles west of Auburn, IA, where he attended grade school and later graduated from Lake View Auburn High School.  After graduation, Craig worked at a popcorn plant and then joined the United States Army.

Craig had a love for hunting, especially coon hunting with his dog, Sadie.  He always went deer hunting with his family and made great memories.  Craig was a member of the V.F.W. in Jefferson and the American Legion Auxiliary in Auburn.  Those left to cherish his memory will always remember Craig saying "God Bless You" whenever he left or hung up the phone.  He will be missed.

Craig is survived by his wife: Heidemarie Presley of Carthage NY; siblings: Warren Presley, Don Presley, and Doris Davis; stepchildren: Melanie Ravet, Jurgen Essing, Sabrina Intorcia, and Kurt Reisinger; 18 step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Alice Presley; siblings: Dwayne Presley, Darlene (Pete) Jacobs, and Dorothy (Cliff) Demoss.
