Dale H. Roewe, age 67, of Laurens, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at his home near Laurens, Iowa.

Dale Henry Roewe was born August 14, 1957, in Spencer, Iowa.  He was the son of Joseph and Lois (Field) Roewe. Dale was educated in Laurens schools, graduating from Laurens High School in 1975. He went on to William Penn University in Oskaloosa on a golf scholarship for a semester. He then transferred to Iowa State University where he earned a degree in ag business and farm operations, graduating in 1979. In 1982, Dale married Susan Martin in Des Moines. From this union, two sons were born, Taylor and Heston. The couple settled near Laurens where Dale farmed. They later divorced and Dale continued to farm near Laurens.

In his schooling years, Dale was active in 4H and FFA. He was a member of the Libertarian Party of Iowa where he served on the executive committee and was a past chairman. He served as a 4H leader for 11 years and as a trustee for Swan Lake Twp. since 1990. In his free time, he enjoyed snow skiing in Colorado and golfing.

Survivors include his sons, Taylor (Tessa) Roewe of Laurens and Heston (Nicole) Roewe of West Hollywood, CA, granddaughter, Gabrielle, brother, Gary (Susan) Roewe of Davenport, sisters, Marcia (Alan) Wubben of Forest City, and Janet (Dan) Piller of Ankeny, and fiancée, Pamela Scharnberg.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lois.
