David C. Sebben, age 63, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Fonda, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Fremont Methodist Hospital in Fremont, Nebraska.

David Charles Sebben was born on November 20, 1959, in Storm Lake, Iowa. He was the son of Anthony and Frances (Brown) Sebben. Dave graduated from Galva Community High School in 1978. After graduation, he attended Iowa Lakes Community College, where he received a degree in Graphic Arts in 1980. In 1983, Dave met his wife, Laurie Gruntorad. They married on August 30, 1986 in Pocahontas, Iowa. The couple relocated and settled in Omaha, Nebraska, where Dave worked as a Truck Driver for Hill Brothers Transportation.

Dave loved spending time with his wife Laurie, daughters, Amanda and Rylie, and his 3 grandchildren, Mason, Nash, and Caidyn. He loved riding his Harley, Hawkeye football Saturday gatherings, his dog Jake, Spaghetti Westerns, Gunsmoke (He's the only one that thought Festus was a Prophet), and Lawman.

Survivors include his wife, Laurie of Omaha, NE; daughters, Amanda (Conor) Gillaspie of Treynor, IA, and Rylie Sebben of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Mason, Nash and Caidyn; siblings, Ginny Condon of Cedar Rapids, Linda (Larry) King of Omaha, NE, John (Carole) Sebben of North Liberty, Kay Marx of Cedar Rapids and Jo (Layne) Hasenbank of Fonda.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Tony "Coach" and Frances Sebben; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Leona Gruntorad; brothers-in-law, Jim Condon and Matt Marx and sister-in-law, Janet Gruntorad.

In honor of Dave, his family and friends are encouraged to wear their Iowa Hawkeye/Black and Gold attire.
