David L. White – age 55, of Laurens, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021, at his home in Laurens, Iowa.

David Lee White was born September 26, 1966 in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Leonard White and Edith Colleen Reese. David graduated from the Milford High School in 1985. He later attended culinary school then completed training to become a CNA. David worked as a CNA for over 30 years, including positions in Michigan, Texas, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer and as of late, the Laurens Care Center in Laurens.

David enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, knitting and crocheting. He loved dogs and deeply cared for the residents at the care center, where his fellow co-workers were like family.

Survivors include his mother, Edith Colleen of Storm Lake; brother Daniel White; niece, Kelsey White and many cousins and friends.

David was preceded in death by his father, Leonard White; aunt, Lois Broderson and grandparents.
