Debra J. Hetrick – age 66, of Laurens, passed away June 4, 2019, at her home in Laurens, Iowa.
Debra Jo Hetrick was born December 5, 1952, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was the daughter of Lyle and Gertrude (Devereaux) Hetrick. Deb attended Laurens High School. She lived in Phoenix from 1985 – 1990 and then returned to Laurens. Deb worked various jobs before opening her restaurant, "Deb's Country Kettle" in 1994. Deb retired in 2008.
Deb enjoyed having coffee with her friends, crocheting, reading and doing crafts.
Survivors include her children, Dr. Eric (Dr. Nura Patani) Gehrig of Chandler, AZ, Amy (Chad) Wahrman of Weatherford, TX and Stephanie (David Peterson) DaSilva of Aurelia; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and sister, Pam (Les) Miller of Laurens. Deb was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Craig Hetrick.
