Donna M. Stelling - age 92, of Pocahontas, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Donna May Carlson was born on May 5, 1929, in Webb, Iowa. She was the daughter of Oscar and Blanche (Dunlap) Carlson. She graduated from Linn Grove High School in 1948. On June 6, 1948, Donna was united in marriage to Hans Stelling in Terril, Iowa. The couple farmed in the Spencer, Storm Lake and Lytton areas. Donna was a homemaker and helped Hans on the farm. In 1971, they moved to Pocahontas where they opened and operated the Sears Catalog Store until 1982. Hans passed away in 1996 and Donna continued to make her home in Pocahontas.

Donna was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, WELCA and the church quilting group. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and bowling. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Don (Marilyn Kay) Stelling of Lohrville and Marilyn "Stretch" Stelling of Pocahontas; three grandchildren, Marc (Emily) Stelling, Ranae (Mike) Juhl and Michelle (Jason) Shaver; 6 great grandchildren and brothers, Oscar (Marilyn) Carlson, Donald (Deb) Carlson and Larry (Sheryl) Carlson.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hans; brothers, Arvid Carlson, Oliver Carlson and Glen Carlson and a sister, Irma Harris.
