Auburn – Frances Bachman, 79, died at her home on Monday, March 8, 2021.  A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lake City.  Celebrant was Father Lynn Bruch and burial was in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Auburn.  Lampe & Powers Funeral Home in Lake City is assisting the family.

Frances Ann Ludwig was born on July 24, 1941 at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll to Harold and Loretta (Caldwell) Ludwig.  She graduated from high school in 1960.  On June 12, 1962, Frances married Duane Bachman at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Auburn.  Frances was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Auburn and St. Mary's Alter Society.

Frances is survived by her husband of 58 years, Duane of Auburn; daughter Renee (Rusty) Frahm-Hull of Audubon; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Fagan, Donna Kelso, and Brenda Ludwig; and brother Paul Ludwig.  She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Loretta Ludwig and brother Gary Ludwig.
