Jerry A. Kramer - age 82, of Pocahontas, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at the Buena Vista Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa.

Gerald "Jerry" Anthony Kramer was born August 17, 1938, in Carroll, Iowa. He was the son of Bernard and Marie (Ocken) Kramer. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Pocahontas in 1956. Following his education, Jerry farmed near Pocahontas. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1961 –1963. Following his military service, Jerry returned to Pocahontas where he resumed farming.

Jerry was a member of the Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church and the American Legion. He enjoyed spending time at casinos, playing cards with his family and riding around on his quad runner.

Survivors include his brothers, Robert (Mariam) Kramer of Storm Lake, IA, John (Sandi) Kramer of Pocahontas, IA and Mike (Pauline) Kramer of Cherokee, IA; sister, Linda (Dick) Wirges of Omaha, NE; sisters-in-law, Marge Kramer of West Bend, IA, Fran Kramer of Pocahontas, IA, Barbara Kramer of Fort Dodge, IA and Marlene Kramer of Alta, IA and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Marie Kramer; brothers, Leon, Vernis, Eugene, Loren, Kenneth and Bernard Jr; sister, Ruth Reis and sisters-in-law, JoAnn Kramer and Gladys Kramer.
