Glenda R. Burns - age 76, of Pocahontas, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019, at the Pocahontas Manor Care Center in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Glenda Rae Hopkins was born December 5, 1942, in Celment, Iowa. She was the daughter of John and Vera (Brown) Hopkins. Glenda graduated from Rolfe High School in 1961. After graduation, she married Roy Bergvik and later married Larry Burns.

Glenda enjoyed puzzle books and watching news programs.

Survivors include her sons, Roy Bergvik Jr. of Washington State, Kip Bergvik of Ottumwa; daughter, Rita Pully of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, Dalton, Brandon, Jessica, Anthony and Lucas; sisters, Joyce Stewart of Rolfe, Maxine Hegeholtz of Phoenix, AZ, Erma (Harlan) Lund of Rolfe, Virginia (Wendel) Watson of Garner, Norma (Doug) Whitehurst of Clear Lake and special friend, Steven Clement of Rolfe. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kari Wright; sisters, Mary Hartley and Laura Pepper and brother, Wayne Hopkins.
