Gregory A. Mansager, age 70, of Pomeroy, formerly of Albion, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Gregory Alan Mansager was born on January 1, 1955, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the son of Kenneth and Rajean (Duckett) Mansager. He graduated from West Marshall High School in State Center, in 1973. Following his education, Greg began farming with his father on the family farm near Albion. In March of 1988, Greg married Tanya Meyer in the Little Brown Church in Nashau, Iowa. The couple had one son, Colin. Greg took pride in watching his son grow up farming and raising livestock alongside him. In 2015, Greg retired after over 50 years of farming. He relocated to Pomeroy with his special friend, Lynn.

Greg was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed deer and coyote hunting and also riding motorcycles and snowmobiling. Greg was also an excellent welder.

Survivors include his son, Colin and Lacey (Boffeli) Mansager of Vinton, special friend, Lynn Turvey of Pomeroy; sister, Diane (Todd) Whitmore and brother, Brian (Beth) Mansager. Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Rajean and a brother, Doug Mansager.

In honoring Greg's wishes, a private burial will take place at the Marietta Cemetery near Marshalltown, Iowa.
