Harry A. Reese - age 66, of Laurens, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at the Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Harry Alan Reese was born on August 10, 1954, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Gerald and Ruby (Reeves) Reese. The family lived in Bradgate until Harry was 6, then they moved to a farm near Laurens. Harry attended school in Ware until the school closed, then transferred to Laurens where he graduated in 1972. He went on to attend Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsburg. Following school, he began farming with his dad and eventually took over the family farm. On November 20, 1976, Harry was united in marriage to Mary Schofield. To this union 3 children were born; Amanda, Tracy and Jarrod. The couple settled on the family farm where they farmed and raised their family.

Harry was a member of the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed taking fishing trips to Canada with his brothers and son, camping, boating, water skiing, snow skiing and hosting fish fries. He enjoyed spending time with family and especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Amanda Reese of Laurens, Tracy (Casey) Diehl of Fairfield and Jarrod (Stefanie) Reese of Moville; 7 grandchildren, Addison, Emma and Jayden Olson, Kaylee and Caden Diehl, and Jaxon and Madisyn Reese; sisters, Theda (Jake) Nagengast of Albert City and Myra Reese of Laurens and sister-in-law, Sue Reese of Laurens.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Reese and Kenny Reese and sister-in-law, Toodie Reese.
