Irma M. Goeser – age 98, of Pocahontas, formerly of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, October 17, 2022, at the Pocahontas Manor Care Center in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Irma Magdalenea Goeser was born on October 16, 1924, on a farm near Westphalia, Iowa. She was the daughter of Q.E. and Magdalenea (Schnieder) Goeser. She graduated from Dow City High School in the early 1940's. Irma worked as a housekeeper in the Catholic rectories for 57 years. She started at the rectory in Wall Lake and then worked for Father Edmond Adams for many years.

Irma was a member of the Catholic Church and was very active in the various parishes she served in. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.

She is survived by her sister, Della Kenkel of Johnston and many nieces and nephews. Irma was a great-great-great aunt.
