James Charles Zdrazil, husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, met and married his high school sweetheart, Jean, in Pocahontas, Iowa in 1968. They were happily married for 54 years.

Jim was born on June 13, 1948, and was part of a large family, parents James and Marcella Zdrazil (deceased); Siblings: Sandi Ollinger Schlueter (deceased) (Joe), Roger Ollinger (Doris), Mary Cae Zdrazil Scott (Gordon), Sally Zdrazil Krips (Ray), Connie Zdrazil Ward (deceased), Jayne Zdrazil Beneke (Dean), Alan Zdrazil (JoAnn). He also is survived by many treasured nieces and nephews.

Jim was considered an astute businessman with a tremendous mid-western work ethic. He began delivering milk with his father at age 10 and always placed high value on hard work. Jim graduated with a BA in History from California State Long Beach in 1971. After working several years as an internal auditor, Jim became a managing partner in the Curtin Security Company. He started PCI Products Co in 1984. His son, Travis (Nikolas and Corey) joined Jim and developed the company website in 1992. Daughter, Angie Zdrazil Willard (Kevin Willard), (Nathaniel, Lindsay, Lilah) joined in 2005 to help run operations. Grandson, Ethan, joined the company in 2017, during and after his college graduation. They, along with Jean, still successfully operate the company today.

Among Jim's greatest treasures are his family and the trips they took together. Jim enjoyed traveling, 60's music, fishing, walking near the ocean and giving advice! He was generous and kind, quick to give a smile and make one feel welcome and comfortable. His wit and dry sense of humor was immediately evident to all who had the chance to meet him.

There will be a Graveside Service to allow Jim's friends and family to honor his memory in Pocahontas, Iowa on June 24, 2023, at Calvary Cemetery, 10:30 a.m.
