Jane A. Tjelmeland – age 54, of Pomeroy, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Jane Ann Tjelmeland was born on February 25, 1965, in Dubuque, Iowa. She was the daughter of Edward and Mary (Awn) Tjelmeland. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1983. She gave birth to her first child three months prior to graduation. That summer she met Richard Beisch and they celebrated their 36th anniversary on June 12th of this year.

Jane was a very giving person. She enjoyed camping, crocheting, driving around and cooking. She loved her animals and she especially loved her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Beisch of Pomeroy; children, Nikki Gehrt (Daniel Bachman), Danielle Beisch (Dirk Cutrer), Ethan Beisch, Taylor Beisch (David Bradshaw), Dallas Beisch and Kylie Beisch all of Pomeroy; three grandchildren, Morgan, Adrian and Noelle; mother, Mary Tjelmeland of Pomeroy; father, Edward Tjelmeland of Fort Dodge; brother, Mark Tjelmeland of Pomeroy and a nephew, Zackary Riddle of Georgia.

Jane was preceded in death by her grandparents Michael and Alice Awn and a granddaughter, Athena.
