Jannifer Sue Bridwell was born on March 29, 1983 in Lake City, Iowa. She grew up in Pomeroy and graduated from Pomeroy-Palmer High School in 2001. She remained in the area and eventually settled back in Pomeroy where she still resided at the time of her passing. She worked various jobs through the years but was especially well known for her pizzas when she worked with Casey's.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Marlene Bridwell, and infant brother Dewey.

She is survived by her sister Melanie (Michael) Klaassen of Pomeroy, nieces Michaela (Michael) Bailey of Manson, Andrea (Conner) Hiatt of Manson, nephew Jacob Klaassen of Pomeroy; great nephew, Archer Hiatt of Manson; several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.

She passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.

There will be an informal visitation/remembrance gathering to celebrate Jan's life on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church Parish Hall from 2 - 4 PM. A private family burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Pomeroy.
