Jeff Kelly, age 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 20, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Jeffrey Francis Kelly was born on February 28, 1956, in Denver, CO. He was the son of Mark and Kay (Pattee) Kelly. He was raised in Pocahontas, Iowa and was a 1974 graduate of Pocahontas High School. On August 21, 1976, Jeff was married to Nancy Rude, of Rolfe, IA. Together, they had two sons, Nicholas and Tyler.

Jeff started his career at Northwestern Bell Telephone in Pocahontas, IA and was relocated, and moved to Estherville, IA in 1977. He went on to work at Armstrong Rim and Wheel in Armstrong, IA. It was there he met and married Michaelle Cummins on September 21, 1991. Jeff also provided maintenance and management services at GKN in Armstrong. He later was employed with TG Industries. Jeff was gifted with a multitude of innate mechanical and technical skills which served him well throughout his career.

In 2002, Jeff and Michaelle opened the Armstrong Liquor Store and operated it for over a decade. In 2015, Jeff moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas where he continued to work remotely for TG Industries. He enjoyed spending much of his free time on his boat, fishing and tinkering in his garage. His love for his dogs, Missy and Maggie, was well known among his family and friends.

Jeff is survived by his two sons, Nicholas Kelly, of Ankeny, IA and Tyler (Jamie) Kelly, of Rolfe, IA; Grandchildren, Andrew, Jade, and Tate; His siblings, Mike (Terry) Kelly of St. Charles, MO; Betty Ann (Chris) Rosfjord of Estherville, IA; Tom (Paula) Kelly of Mooresville; NC, Marikay (Kevin) Kottke of Storm Lake, IA and Ann (Mark) Sampson of Eagle Grove, IA as well as a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts Marie Pattee and Joleen Kelly.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Kay Kelly, his brother Pat Kelly, his maternal and paternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Jeff's life was marked by his dedication to his work and the joy he found in his personal hobbies. He will be remembered for his reserved sense of humor and his quiet care for the animals he loved.
