Jeff A. Spencer – age 65, of Rolfe, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at MercyOne in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Jeffery Allen Spencer was born on August 16, 1958, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of William and Eden (Bennett) Spencer. He graduated from Rolfe High School in 1976 and attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. After college, Jeff worked in management for the phone company in Fort Dodge. In the early 1980's he moved to Texas and was employed as an Irrigation Tech. On January 3, 1985, Jeff married Kelly Sindergard in Laurens, Iowa. The couple lived in Texas until 1998, when they returned to Rolfe. Jeff worked in Humboldt as a Service Tech for Hog Slat. He retired in February of 2024.

Jeff enjoyed target shooting, golfing, watching football, Nascar and playing poker. Most important to Jeff, was spending time with Svea, his granddaughter.

Survivors include his sons, Chad Spencer of Rolfe and J.D. Spencer of Curlew; mother, Eden Spencer of Rolfe; a granddaughter, Svea Grace Spencer; brother, Bill Spencer of Webster City and lifelong friend, Kelly Spencer of Curlew.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, William Spencer; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Tom Andersen and nephew, Ryan Spencer.
