Farnhamville – Jeffory Seil, 69, died Monday, August 16, 2021 at Shady Oaks Care Center in Lake City.  A visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Lampe & Powers Funeral Home in Lake City.  Graveside services will follow at Reading Cemetery near Farnhamville.

Jeff was born on August 28, 1951 in Lake City, Iowa to Herman and Evelyn (Lane) Seil.  He grew up in Lohrville and graduated from Lohrville High School in 1970.  He worked on the family farm for many years, then worked in Farnhamville at the elevator and Vosberg Enterprise until retiring in 2015.  Jeff enjoyed hiking and reading, especially anything history related.

Jeff is survived by his daughters Shawna (Tom) Bedard of Lake City and Jenny (Luke) Simonson of Bondurant; grandchildren Colton and Evelyn Simonson of Bondurant; sisters Pat Koroulis of Arizona and Margaret Harms of Lytton; brother-in-law Darwin Matter of Lytton; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Evelyn Seil; brothers Herman (Glenda), and Henry Seil; sister Mary Matter; and brothers-in-law Nick Koroulis and Jim Harms.
