Jeffrey Allan Lewison, a 63-year-old resident of Pocahontas, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, after a prolonged battle with chronic illness and a neurological disorder. Jeff resided at the Fonda Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Beverly Lewison, who were also from Pocahontas.

Jeff is survived by his brother, Scott Lewison (Mindy), who resides in Emmetsburg, Iowa. He also has a niece, Megan McConnell (Adam), and a great-nephew, Arthur McConnell, residing in Madison, Wisconsin.

Jeff was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and later moved to Racine, Wisconsin. In 1972, his family relocated to Pocahontas, where he attended Pocahontas Area Community Schools. He pursued college classes at Iowa Central Community College, Iowa State University, DeVry, and Buena Vista University. Prior to his early retirement in 2025, Jeff had worked at various manufacturing firms in Northwest Iowa and at the Hinde Community Center in Pocahontas.

No funeral services are scheduled. Jeff will be laid to rest near his parents and other family members at the Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids, Iowa. Powers Funeral Home of Pocahontas, Iowa handled the arrangements.
