Jo Ellen Guill, age 63, of Laurens, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Laurens Care Center in Laurens, Iowa. No services are planned at this time.

Jo Ellen Guill was born September 19, 1960, in Henderson, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Edward Louis and Georgia May (Powell) Guill. Jo Ellen graduated from Henderson County High School in 1978. She worked as a waitress at Buslers Truck Stop in Henderson and later at Walmart in Seymour, Indiana. She moved to Laurens in 2006.

Jo Ellen enjoyed riding tea bucket cars and attending car shows. She was also a big fan of Betty Boop.

Survivors include her son, Jeremy (Laura) Guill of Columbus, IN; sister, Paula Fraliex of Evansville, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

Jo Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Georgia; brothers, Danny and Randy Guill; sister, Dena Marie Hayes, and brother-in-law, Donald Fraliex.
