John Conlin, age 78, of Yuma, Arizona, formerly of Albert City, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in Yuma.

John Paul Conlin was born September 14, 1944, in Storm Lake, Iowa. He was the son of Michael Conlin and Freda Sanders. John attended St. Columbkille Catholic School in Varina, later graduating from the Albert City High School. Following his education, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He then became an electrician working in Texas and Las Vegas. He later retired and moved to Yuma, Arizona, where he lived until his death.

John was a member of the American Legion, where he was active in the local group in Yuma. He enjoyed riding motorcycles across the country, restoring motorcycles and cars, spending time with his favorite dog, Abby, and spending summers on the family farm in Iowa.

Survivors include his son, Michael (Janelle) Conlin of Jackson, WY; daughter, Sue Berg of Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Christine Turnquist of Anaheim, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Freda; brother, Raymond Conlin; sister, Carol Sue Conlin, and brother-in-law, Verlin Turnquist.
