Judy Lancaster, age 86, of Lohrville, IA, passed away Thursday morning at the Regency Park Nursing Home in Jefferson, IA.  Judy Magdolina was born on November 10, 1939, to parents Fredrick and Eva (Warner-Powers) Wagenman in California.  She grew up on the West Coast, where she graduated from high school.

Judy was united in marriage to William Earl Lancaster in Stockton, CA.  This union was blessed with four children: Corina, Donny, Nadine, and William Jr.  Judy was a homemaker and was known for being very gifted in the kitchen.  She loved to cook for everyone and always had the best baked goods.  In 2015, Judy moved to Iowa.  Judy had many grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids, and many friends who knew and loved her.  She will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Corina Deford of Crescent City, CA, and Donny Sexton of Stockton, CA; grandchildren: Judy Lancaster, Tonise Blackwell, Catherine Blackwell, David Blackwell, Christin Blackwell, Frank Benton, Donny Benard, and Carrie Benard; great-grandchildren: Corina, Denver, Shanese, Kimberly, Danny, Devon, Dominic, Kayla, Katrina, Josh, Jordan, Joshua, Aurieonna, and Ray; great-great grandchildren: Kaden, Ethan, James, Josie, Beckett, Mason, Addy Joshua Jr. Lucinda, and many more.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, William Sr; Children: Nadine Blackwell and William Lancaster Jr.; two grandchildren: Freddy and Joseph; siblings, Shirley Wegenman, Leiland Wegenman.

Celebration of Life will be from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the Lampe and Powers Funeral Home in Lake City, IA
