Kevin H. Dubbert – age 65, of Laurens, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, peacefully at his home near Laurens, Iowa.

Kevin Hawley Dubbert was born on October 29, 1955 in Storm Lake, Iowa. He was the son of Robert and Marilyn (Hawley) Dubbert. Kevin graduated from the Laurens High School in 1974. He went on to Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa, graduating in 1976 with a degree in Ag Banking. He worked as a loan officer at the Union Trust & Savings Bank in Fort Dodge. On April 22, 1978, Kevin was united in marriage to Cindy Morgan in Ogden, Iowa. In 1979, the couple settled on the Dubbert family farm near Laurens, where they farmed and raised their family.

Kevin was a member of the United Methodist Church. With over 40 years of membership, Kevin was a very active member of the Masonic Lodge. He served on the Laurens Ambulance Crew for over 25 years. In his early years he was a member of the Pocahontas County Cattlemen Association where he served many positions.

Kevin loved riding motorcycles and he traveled to almost every state in the nation. He also enjoyed playing cards, hosting gatherings and parties and vacationing with Cindy in Mexico.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy of Laurens; son, Jason (Brooke) Dubbert of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Stacy (Patrick) Carlin of Sanborn; grandchildren, James and Kate Carlin; mother, Marilyn Dubbert of Laurens; sister, Shari (Gary) Krieger of Elhorn, NE and brother, Daniel (Natalie) Dubbert of Kansas City, MO. Kevin was preceded in death by his father.
