Kevin Vainreb, age, 70, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Accura Healthcare at Pomeroy, Iowa.

Kevin Michael Vainreb was born August 12, 1955 at Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Joseph H. and Mary Margaret (Sinek) Vainreb. He graduated from Rolfe High School in 1974. He was employed as a truck driver for many years. Kevin enjoyed following sports, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes and NASCAR.

Survivors include his sisters, Kathy (Ben) Ricklefs, Pat (Paul) Faber, Nancy (Kenneth) Eberle, and Teresa Vainreb; and brother Dave Vainreb; nine nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews, brother-in-law Steve Rogers, aunt, many cousins and friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Mary Jo Vainreb and Susan J. Rogers, and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Memorials may be left to the American Heart Association or to the discretion of the family.

According to Kevin's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa.
