Kyle Rath, age 19 of Auburn, IA, passed away as a result of a tragic automobile accident.

Kyle Robert Rath was born on August 23, 2006, to parents Terry and Melissa (Lamaak) Rath at St. Anthony's Regional Hospital in Carroll, IA.  He grew up in Auburn, IA, with his three siblings, where he attended East Sac Community School District and graduated from high school with the class of 2024. Throughout high school, Kyle helped out at Timmermann Farms, alongside his good buddy Justin and his family.

After graduation, Kyle began working for Ludwig Farms in Breda, IA.  Kyle was a lover of the outdoors, working, and being on the farm.  In his free time, he was either going for side-by-side rides, snowmobiling, or riding 4-wheelers.  He enjoyed playing bags with his brother Logan and hanging out with friends and family.  Kyle was a funny/quirky kid and was quick-witted when joking with friends and family, a special personality that will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents Terry Rath of Auburn, IA and Melissa Rath (Jason) of Smithland, IA; siblings: Tyler Dean (Shelby) of Auburn, IA, Logan (Jaylin) Bock of Auburn, IA, and Kolten Rath of Auburn, IA; nephews: Brixton and Weston; grandparents Ron and Sharon Lamaak; several other extended family members, and many friends.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Rath, Patricia Greving, and Ann Lamaak.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2026, at the United Presbyterian Church in Auburn, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the United Presbyterian Church in Auburn, Iowa. Burial will take place in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Auburn, Iowa.
