Larry R. Kunz – age 64, of Laurens, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, at his home in Laurens, Iowa.

Lawrence Raymond Kunz was born on January 20, 1958, in Emmetsburg, Iowa. He was the son of Kenneth and Velta LaVonne "Bonnie" (Manzer) Kunz. He attended Mallard Schools and during his high school years moved to Laurens where he graduated from Laurens High School in 1977. Larry did carpentry and construction work. He worked for C.I. Hersom Construction in Laurens for many years. He then did construction work in Texas and Kansas City. On June 30, 2000, Larry was united in marriage to Billie Green at Marathon Park near Marathon. The couple lived in Albert City until 2006 when they settled in Laurens. Larry continued doing carpentry work and then worked as a welder for Bobalee Hydraulics until retiring in 2020 due to poor health.

Larry especially loved spending time with his kids. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Billie of Laurens; daughter, Alyssa Kunz of Laurens and son, Dakota Kunz of Laurens; brothers, Al (Rhonda) Kunz of Spirit Lake and Barry (Doreen) Kunz of Peshtigo, WI. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tom Delbridge.
