Lavonne Richardson, age 90 of Sac City, IA, passed away on June 26, 2024, at Park View Rehabilitation Center in Sac City. Lavonne was born on June 9, 1934, to parents Lawrence and Ida (Jones) Wycoff in Sac City. She grew up in the area where she was baptized and attended school.
On March 16, 1974, Lavonne was united in marriage to Charles Richardson in St. Paul, MN. Lavonne worked as a housemaid and dishwasher until her retirement in 1988. In her free time, she loved to do crafts and listen to music.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister Laverne Staley of Sac City, IA; sisters-in-law: Audrey Wycoff, Elaine Wycoff, and Betty Wycoff.
Lavonne was preceded in death by her husband Charles Richardson, parents, and siblings: Lawrence Jr, Lester, Charles, Robert, Joanne Godwin, Lorraine Wycoff, Lois Weisenborn, Norma Hamm, and Betty Wycoff.
