Leona Clark Reetz - age 95, of Humboldt, formerly of Pomeroy, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at the Humboldt Care Center North in Humboldt, Iowa.

Leona May Ladner was born on September 24, 1924, at her home near Hecla, S.D. She was the daughter of Christian and Ethel (Wampler) Ladner. She was educated in country schools and went on to attend high school in Claremont, S.D.   On December 13, 1941, Leona was united in marriage to Lee Clark. The couple lived in South Dakota until the late 1940's when they moved to Minnesota to farm for several years. They then moved to Sioux City where they worked in the packing house industry. They then moved to the Fort Dodge area where they lived for several years before moving to Pomeroy. Leona worked for Globe Union Manufacturing in Fort Dodge for many years before retiring in the late 1980's. Lee passed away in 1988 and Leona continued to make her home in Pomeroy. On November 9, 1991, Leona married Wayne Reetz in Rockford. The couple settled in Rockford. Wayne passed away in 2016 and in 2017 Leona moved to the Humboldt Care Center.

Leona enjoyed collecting rocks and flowers.

Survivors include her children, Karen Breiholz of Fort Dodge; Denny (Karen) Clark of Bethpage, TN; Jim (Betty) Clark of Hendersonville, TN and Lori (Mike) Lange of Gilmore City; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Donna Schliebe of Langford, SD; Bernice Docter of Britton SD and Margaret King of Sioux Falls, SD. Leona was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lee Clark and Wayne Reetz; brother, Ivan Ladner and sisters, Evelyn Olson and Shirley Frey.
