Linda Bauer, age 75 of Lidderdale, IA, passed away at the University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Linda JoAnn Marie was born on January 14, 1949, to parents Albert and Johanna (Gerdes) Bauer.  She attended grade school in Lake View, IA, and graduated from Lake View/Auburn High School.  Linda worked in housekeeping at the Carrollton Inn in Carroll, IA, and also cleaned homes.  She loved animals and her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Amie (Brian) Tate of Huxley, IA, and Angie Kraus of Ames, IA; grandchildren: Chelsie (Cody) Warne of Maxwell, IA, and Mathew Tate of Ames, IA; great-grandchildren: Ryker and Wrenlie Warne.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Johanna Bauer, and brother Norman Bauer

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held 11:00 - 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Lampe and Powers Funeral Home in Lake City, IA.
