Lonna B. Oleson Campbell – age 74, of Laurens, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Lonna B. Oleson Campbell was born August 24, 1946 to Merle and Lavohn (Farlow) Oleson in Denver, Colorado. She entered into eternal rest July 29, 2021 in Pocahontas, Iowa 26 days shy of her 75th birthday. She grew up in Denver and graduated from South High School in 1966. After graduation she moved with her family to Salt Lake City, Utah where she worked in the kitchen of a nursing home. Later she worked as a home care aide for 20 years. She moved to Storm Lake, Iowa in 1988 and retired in Laurens in 1996.

Lonna was a member of the Laurens First Christian Church, belonged to Willing Workers and the C.W.F. She was a lifetime member of the American Legion. Lonna enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and family, listening to country music and Native American culture and décor.

She is survived by her sister, Frankay "Frankie" Oleson Stevens of Springfield, Missouri; 3 nieces, Katherine Stevens Crawford and husband Douglas of Republic, Missouri, Emily Stevens Brinker and husband Donald of Springfield, Missouri, and Elizabeth Stevens of Atlanta, Georgia; 2 great nephews Lucca and Liam Brinker and 2 great nieces Eleena and Lylla Brinker. She is also survived by many loving cousins.

Lonna was preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Lena Oleson, and Raymond and Beatrice Farlow, her parents Merle and Lavohn Oleson and brother in law Wade Stevens as well as many aunts and uncles.
