Loren Little, age 90 of Carroll, IA, formerly of Sac City, IA, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll, IA. Loren Eldon Little was born to parents Estel and Edith (Coats) Little in Sac City, IA, on June 26, 1932. He grew up in Sac City where he graduated from Sac City High School and continued his education at the University of California in Santa Cruz, CA.

On September 9, 1952, Loren enlisted to serve his country in the United States Air Force. He served as an Airplane Mechanic and earned the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged on March 30, 1957

Loren was united in marriage to June, on March 29, 1974. This union was blessed with three children and four stepchildren. Loren worked at IBM, Conoco Oil Company, with B52 Bombers, and also worked with the space program. He was very into technology and computers. Loren was a member of the Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was passionate about his missionary work.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Randall Little, and Peggy Hannah; step-children: Kay Lehto, William Coyle, Sherry Scaggs, Karren Anthony, and Petty Geierman; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Loren was preceded in death by his son Ronald Little, wife June Little, and parents.
