Luella Therldean "Terry" Williams – age 86, of Pocahontas, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the Pocahontas Manor Care Center in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Luella Therldean Wright was born on January 30, 1934 at Ogallala, Keith County, Nebraska. She was the daughter of James and Maude (Davis) Wright. She attended country and town schools in the Hyannis and Ashby areas of Grant County, Nebraska and then graduated from Ashby High School in 1951. She worked as a country doctor's assistant for one year. On November 22nd, 1952 she was married to Estelle Ai Williams at Hyannis and then moved to Pocahontas, Iowa in the spring of 1953. To the couple were born 12 children, eight sons and four daughters. She and Estelled divorced in June of 1971. "Terry" began working at the Pocahontas Community Hospital in March, 1975, and retired on January 31, 1999, after working there for 24 years. She also worked for Home Health for 10 years.

Terry was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. She enjoyed time spent with family and having company stop in to visit her at home. She was an avid back yard gardener and an excellent cook. Terry loved the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and with other family & friends.

Survivors include her children, Retta (Kenny Meiners) Williams of Carroll, IA, Alan (Sun Ok) Williams of Chesterfield, MI, Ronald (Cindy) Williams of Sac City, IA, Sharon (Drew) Beeber of Carroll, IA, Gary (Angie) Williams of Emmetsburg, IA, Roger (Bonnie) Williams of Mallard, IA, John (Lisa) Williams of Pocahontas, IA, Beverly (Kevin) Meyer of Sac City, IA, Susan (Torri) Williams-Glisson of Bainbridge, GA; and Michael (Nicky) Williams of Forest City, IA; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and sister, Sharlene (Glen) Jenkins of Ansley, NE.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ernie, Leroy, James and Cyrus; sister, Darlene (Wright) Chick; sons, Rick Williams and James Williams and grandson, Kyle Williams.
