Lyla R. Hinners, age 83, of Laurens, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Lyla Rose Kline was born December 7, 1939, in Hiawatha, Kansas. She was the daughter of Lyle and Elizabeth "Betty" (Smith) Kline. At a young age, Lyla and her family moved to California, then later Oregon where she attended local schools. After graduating high school, she studied at a trade school for a year. In the mid 1960s, Lyla married Tom Corsaletti. The couple settled in Ione, California and Lyla worked as a grocery store clerk at mini markets. On April 28, 1990, Lyla was united in marriage to Roy Hinners at Lake Amadore near Ione, California. The couple lived in Plymouth, California. They operated a family pizza business for several years, then worked together as a trucking team doing long hauls. In 2002, Lyla and Roy moved to Laurens. In Laurens, Lyla worked for Fischer Hydraulics, Food Pride and the Country Store. She retired in 2018.

Lyla enjoyed bowling, riding motorcycles and spending time with family.

Survivors include her husband, Roy of Laurens; children, Jennie Drew of Oregon; Tony Corsaletti of Oregon, Shea Corsaletti of California and Chris Corsaletti of California and seven grandchildren.

Lyla was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Pauline Fulton and a brother, Larry Kline.
