Mark R. Cahill, age 66, of Rolfe, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at his home in Rolfe, Iowa.

Mark Richard Cahill was born on August 17, 1958, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Virgil and Charyls (Brennan) Cahill. Mark attended Fort Dodge Community Schools. During school, he worked at Hy-Vee. He joined the U.S. Army following school where he served for 4 years. He enjoyed his time in Colorado the most. Mark worked in manufacturing and construction for the remainder of his life. Spending time with family and being outdoors was very important to him.

On February 22, 1985, Mark was united in marriage to Sherri Jo Schoeberlein. To this union they had two sons, Mitchell and Bryan.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri of Rolfe; son, Mitchell (Ariel) of Spencer; son, Bryan of Rolfe; sister, Donna (James) Clagett; grandchildren, Jagr Climer and Charlyss Cahill; many nieces and nephews, and canine companion, Penny.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Richard Johnson; two nephews, Chris and Zach, and two canine companions, Maggie and Coco.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
