Melissa S. Martin – age 39, of Vincent, formerly of Rolfe, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Melissa Sue Martin was born December 28, 1981 in Waterbury, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Daniel and Susan (Kitchin) Martin. The family moved to Iowa in 1989. Melissa graduated from Pocahontas Area High School in 1999, then continued her education at Iowa Central Community College, graduating in the early 2000s as a LPN. She lived in various towns around the area and was a certified ADAA Advocate.

Survivors include her children, Malary Koob of Sioux City, Norton Koob of Humboldt and Vincent Koob of Gilmore City; mother, Sue Martin of Manson; brother, Dan Martin of Rolfe; nephew, Jacob and a niece, Abigail; and many cousins.

Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Daniel; an uncle, Thomas Kitchen.
