Mike Steggall - age 63, of Laurens, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the Trinity regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Dennis Michael Steggall was born on April 28, 1958, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was the son of William and Virginia (Peterson) Steggall. He was educated in Cedar Rapids and Ely schools. He worked as an automotive mechanic at several dealerships in Cedar Rapids In 1993, Mike moved to Fonda with his partner Pam Caldwell and he worked as a mechanic in Storm Lake. They moved to Laurens in 2000 where Mike worked at Fischer Hydraulics and an assembler. He retired in 2015, due to health reasons.

Mike enjoyed working on engines and other projects. He also enjoyed working in his yard.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Caldwell of Laurens; sons, Chad Steggall of Washington, Matt Steggall of Cedar Rapids and Corey Steggall of Cedar Rapids; step-children, Brandon Caldwell of Cedar Rapids and Stephanie Pineda of Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren; brothers, Bill Steggall and Bob Steggall of Cedar Rapids and sister-in-law, Paula Steggall of Ely. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David Steggall.
