Norman D. Boughey - age 79, of Rembrandt, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at his home in Rembrandt, Iowa.

Norman Duane Boughey was born on December 29, 1940, at Milford, Iowa. He was the son of Glen and Nylene (Richards) Boughey. He graduated from Terrill High School in 1959. He served in the U. S. Army from 1960 – 1963. On April 11, 1964, Norman was united in marriage to Yvonne Janice Sundholm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Albert City. The couple lived in Madison, Minnesota where Norman worked as a Seed House Operator for the Madison Mill and Elevator. In 1975, they moved to Laurens where Norman worked for C.I. Hersom Construction Co. In 2001, they moved to Pocahontas and Norman worked as a newspaper distributor for the Laurens area. Yvonne passed away in 2000. In 2002, Norman retired and moved to Rembrandt.

Norman enjoyed fishing, camping, building projects and working with his hands. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family.

Survivors include his children, Tamara (Randy) Mosloski of Mapelton, MN; Gregory (Kara) Boughey of Mapleton, MN; Matt (Tyanne) Larson of Mapleton, MN and Mindy (Tyson) Cronberg of Grand Marais, MN; step-daughter, Joni Harig of Spencer; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and a brother, Alan (Marge) Boughey of Sioux Center.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Yvonne "Bonnie"; brothers, Wayne, Donald and David Boughey; sister, Betty Henderson and a son-in-law, Randy Harig.
