Patrick A. Stockwell - age 58, of Spencer, formerly of Laurens, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Avera Healthcare in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Patrick Alan Stockwell was born August 20, 1962, in Spencer, Iowa.   He was the son of Dean and Margaret "Sue" (Hughes) Stockwell. He graduated from Pocahontas High School in 1982. Pat lived in Orange city until 1988 when he moved to Spencer. In Spencer he participated in the Sunshine Services work and Residential Program. In July of 2015, Pat began using the Residential Services from Hope Haven in Spencer.

Pat was a member of AA and enjoyed attending their meetings. During his school years, Pat participated in Special Olympics winning many awards. He loved going to races with Dean Crotty and especially enjoyed watching Dennis Hovinga and Bob Shryock race. Pat loved talking to people and making new friends.

Survivors include his brothers, Michael Stockwell of Laurens and Troy (Joyce) Stockwell of Laurens and two nephews, Blaine Stockwell and Tyler Stockwell. Pat was preceded in death by his parents.
