A Public Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, April 9, 2021, at the Calvary Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Patrick J. Wilson – age, 63, of Pocahontas, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the Granger Nursing Home in Granger, Iowa.

Patrick James Wilson was born on March 17, 1957, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was the son of Thomas and Regina (Quinlan) Wilson. He graduated from Pocahontas High School in 1975. He was united in marriage to Laurie Overmohle on August 23, 1980 in Storm Lake, Iowa. Patrick farmed with his father for several years until taking employment at a Turkey plant in Storm Lake. He also worked as a welder and did some odd jobs. Patrick lived in Adel for a couple of years before entering the Granger Nursing and Rehab Center.

Patrick served as the Indian Mascott during high school.  He loved music and worked part-time as a D.J.

Survivors include his children; Ted Wilson, Rebecca (Joseph) Speiss, Ben Wilson, Caleb Wilson, Katie Wilson; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Jean Buchta of Omaha, Jane Hushagen of Iowa Falls and a brother, Duane (Glenda) Wilson of Omaha.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David.
