Priscilla "Pat" Weishaar, age 100, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Priscilla Marie Fitzgerald was born on August 27, 1923, near Varina, Iowa. Pat graduated from St. Columbkille High School in Varina. She attended Buena Vista University in Storm Lake and taught in the Pocahontas County Rural Schools from 1941 to 1947. On June 17, 1947, Pat was united in marriage to Elmer Weishaar at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Varina. The couple lived in Pocahontas and began farming near Emmetsburg. They later farmed near Varina, Clare, Albert City and Pocahontas, before moving into Pocahontas in 1976. They moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 2010 and to Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2015. Elmer passed away in 2016 and Pat continued to make her home in Lincoln until December of 2023, when she moved to Omaha.

Pat was a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, Ladies Society, Missionary Group, and the MNO Card Club in Pocahontas. Her special interests were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and playing cards with family and friends.

Survivors include her children, Mark (Kathy) Weishaar of Malvern, PA, Jane (Tom) Wiehl of O'Fallon, IL, Roger (Sharon) Weishaar of LeMars, Mary (Larry) Reiff of Omaha, NE and Scott (Shaun) Weishaar of Omaha, NE; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Jack (Norma) Fitzgerald of Spencer.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Stella (Ryan) Fitzgerald; her husband, Elmer; sister, Elaine Sparapany; brother, Jim Fitzgerald, and grandchildren, Cari Reiff Hoffman and Michael Weishaar.

In lieu of flowers, Pat's family requests that memorials be made in her name.
