Raymond Duane Beckman passed away peacefully on July 18, 2022.  Visitation will be Friday 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., July 22, 2022, at the Lampe and Powers Funeral Home in Lake City Iowa. ­The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Lake City, Iowa.

Ray was born to Herman and Bertha Beckman on February 22, 1933. Ray lived his entire life in Lake City, Iowa. He worked tirelessly for his family and was an active member of his community and his church, Pilgrim Lutheran.

Ray is survived by his wife Glenda, his 3 children, Lori (Rick Fernandes), Mike (Linda), and Nanci, grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Glenda's children Stephani, Chad, and their families. He is preceded in death by parents, Herman and Bertha, brother Junior and sisters Helen, Lois, and Lorraine, and his granddaughter, Lauren.
