Richard L. Gregerson – age 82, of Pocahontas, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the Pocahontas Manor in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Richard Lee Gregerson was born on January 26, 1939, in Pocahontas, Iowa. He was the son of Cecil and Delphine (Meyer) Gregerson. Dick attended and graduated from Pocahontas High School in 1956. He enlisted and served in the Air National Guard in Fort Dodge for three years and then began working at the Des Moines Public Library. Dick was united in marriage to Beverly Hunter on September 9, 1961, at Trinity Lutheran Church near Pocahontas. The couple settled in Pocahontas where Dick worked out of the Engineers Office.   In 1966, he became a city mail carrier until his retirement after 35 years of service.

Dick was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church. He enjoyed sports, bowling, golf and following the Iowa Hawkeyes, Notre Dame and his beloved, Yankees.

Dick is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Shelly (Dennis) Juilfs of Fonda; son, Jeff (Laurie) Gregerson of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Conner (Alison) Juilfs, Paige (Michael) Schober, Olivia (Taylor) Lewis, Jordan Crawford, Shauna Crawford and brother, Bob Gregerson of Pocahontas.

Dick was preceded in death by parents, Delphine and Cecil; step-mother, Irene; sister, Phyllis and brother, Jack.
